Instead of going to the gym during lunch, it was such a nice day that i decided to go biking instead. I went to Island Lake and road the Blue trail. It's a ten mile ride, a nice 45 minute ride that's mostly nice, flat out stuff where you can go fast. About 10% of the trail is somewhat technical stuff, with some nasty sand in spots. It was a perfect day for riding. Midway through, I stopped at the Lake where Cathie, Kris, Susan, Laura (Jon's sister-in-law), Jon and the kids were swimming and said hi. Midway through the ride I saw the largest gardener snake I've ever seen sunning itself on the trail. I tried to bunny-hop over it, but I'm not sure my back wheel cleared it. Oops.
