Bluetooth Headset

I bought a new Bluetooth Headset, the Plantronics 510, because I was pretty unhappy with my previous Plantronics M3000 Headset in terms of how it interfaced with my phone and the range. The new 510 fits well, has great range and integrates well into the Treo. So far, so good. Let the record show that Ted turned me onto this headset.

June 13th of this year you bought your previous headset and determined that it was the greatest thing since rolled toilet paper.
In fact you stated, "...this headset really will bring me true happiness."

If the previous plantronics wasn't as great as you had expected, why didn't you try a different brand...ie motorola?

I was kinda hoping that no one would remember that one. Thanks.

Plantronics makes the best headsets in the world in terms of sound quality. The sound quality was great on the last one, it just sucked in terms of phone integration. Lots of bugs, plus it was big and gawky.

This one is heavenly... so far...

Dave,

Let us know how you like the new headset. I'm pretty pleased with my Sony Ericson HBH-660 except for talk time.

Almost one week into it and I dig it. Much better range, 4 hour+ talk time and standby time is great. My last one was so bad that it may have been a good comparison. For $50, this thing rocks.
