I nuked a couple of today's post off my blog today. Here's why:
Another site posted some things that were mean about me and my church. I found them funny and posted those things, along with some equally mean e-mails that some of their followers had sent. By not getting angry and laughing at what was said, I think I pour gasoline on their fire and they continued to rant. I was embaressed to let people see some of the infighting that goes in the Christian body, so out of embaressement, I've removed all posts and links from my my blog.

But how will we know if you are really the antichrist?
you won't know....unless you know the Original....you won't know if you fill your life with artificial spiritual food. You won't know if you spend your time playing with clothespins and eating pretend "poo" out of a diaper....you won't know if you decide to irresponsibly spend your church life time as a social outlet, instead of a spiritual growth medium. So when the antichrist appears, you won't know...and you will follow him...because you chose to not prepare yourself...because you choose to be coy and sarcastic,(think for a moment where that kind of spirit arises from!) rather than serious about Christian committment. Because you would rather play with diapers and clothespins, rather than reading the Word of God and placing it in your heart, applying it, and developing it in your life. Because one day, Christ will call His people, and you won't know His voice, because you chose to ignore it now....because it is just more fun to play, than to discipline yourselves as Christ commanded us to do. So if you are feeling "judged" by some, you should be thankful they care enough to remind you of what His word says....You were bought with a Price....why do you behave so ungratefully toward Him who took your sin upon Himself, suffered the chastisement of us all, and died a horrific death on your behalf, and rose again to conquer the wages of your sin? If being a Christian was a punishable crime, would there be enough evidence against you to convict you? hmmmmmm........IITimothy 3:1 "this know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of thsoe that are good. Traitors, heady,highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power therof, from such turn away." He said it, do you believe it?
The difference between my blog and Ingrid's White Supremecist Blog sliceoflaodacia.com is that I'll allow dissenting opinions to be on here. I checked and I know that I'm not the anti-christ.
I chuckle as I read the self-righteousness of your statement, assuming that because kids play games they're never taught about God. That's like me assuming that your children are deranged monkeys just because you're mean to strangers on their blogs and think games are bad. You should be more like the Amish. They may disagree with how other christians live, but they aren't jerks about it.
Anyone who thinks that sarcasm is of the devil, must believe that Jesus is of the devil, because there are numerous places in the bible where he is sarcastic. Wow. I can't believe you think Jesus is the anti-christ. That's kinda sad.
Where did you ever connect the dots that I equated Jesus with the antichrist? Either you have a reading comprehension problem, or a vivid imagination. Let it be known that this was your "take" on what I said, not what I said. As for kids playing games: No, I don't believe that kids should sit in a church basement and collect mold. There are plenty of games that promote healthy wholesome attitudes and actions....diaper diving does not fall into that category, and you know it. If you don't know it, that should be a sign to you to once again revisit God's word...and put away all the New Age junk food you have been feasting on. As for my meaness: That is your opinion of someone who has scripturally pointed out to you the behaviours exhibited by you in your blog are not in alignment with what Christ has stated in His teachings, and what Bible says regarding the leadership of the Church. If you think it is mean of me to point out clear scripture and doctrine, imagine how you're going to feel when Jesus directs you to the left! As for self-righteous: No, I am just as much a sinner as you. I speak not from myself at all, but from the work He has done within me...and continues to do. It is both Biblical and prudent to admonish and uphold one another. My words were not meant at all in the spirit of meanness....and actually, they are not all my words...some are St. Paul's...is he being a meany too?? As for sarcasm: Show me where in the Bible Jesus used sarcasm to manipulate or control other people's thinking...or sway them...or humiliate them...or put them down...there are four testaments to His life on this planet...and the Book of Acts...I would be curious to know where exactly in the Bible you can back up that statement. Keep it in the context of the writing please. The Four Gospels tell of instances where Christ reprimanded, scolded, expressed righteous anger, mostly at the Pharisees for defiling the Temple for selling sacrifices for a gain, or even His own disciples when they failed either to listen or understand...such as when He asked them to keep watch when He went to pray at Gethsemane. However, in over 40 years of Bible teaching, reading, and study, I do not ever recall a time when Jesus was sarcastic...(and here's a question: what is the opposite of sarcasm?) Now, if you think about that answer...and if you think about the nature of God, and then you think about the counterfeit..it should be clear as mud to you what I was saying about inviting sarcasm and coyness into your dialogue...particularly with someone who might not see your humor...Let me know via this blog site where all those places are in the Bible...I am always up for learning something new...
Check out Jesus's interaction with the phraisees if you're interested in seeing sarcasm. CS Lewis talks quite a bit about Jesus's sarcasm and humor as well. From the way you talk, I'm wonder if you see Jesus as a smiling savior.
anonymous...i really hope you come back here and look at this. i didn't realize it was our responsibility to judge someone else's salvation. (so dave's on his way to the left?) i guess i didn't remember that part in the bible. i understand, you're not trying to be mean, just saying you're not really a christian though you think you are. is that right or am i wrong in what i'm reading?
but you're putting up requirements for dave that you yourself don't follow. as he writes his "take" on what you have said, you have done the same thing.
i'd love to go back and explore jesus' relationship with the pharisees. again, from my reading of matthew 21, jesus does not get angry at the pharisees for selling sacrifices for gain...it is simply the money changers.
no jesus is upset with the pharisees for an entirely different reason. for thinking they had all the right answers. for thinking they were better than everyone else. for thinking they were the ones God loved. for thinking that Jesus was doing everything the wrong way.
you're judgements seem to be more like the pharisees than dave's actions. you may disagree with his methods, yeah, the pharisees disagreed w/ Jesus' methods b/c they were "sinful" according to their book. he ate meals w/ prostitutes...go look that up, study it and see just how wrong that was, but evidentally those people were worth the time. and those dinner weren't all about discipleship.
