Wegmans

I'm in New York this week for a bunch of meetings with my team. Being virtual, we rarely get a chance to all get together from all over the country like this. As a team building event, we went to Dinner at Wegman's culinary institute. Wegmans is a famous chain of grocery stores that have been profiled in the Harvard Business review and other places.

We received our aprons and broke into teams and each set out to cook our course in the meal. We were graded based on a few criteria, including presentation. Our team created palm trees out of beer bottles and brocolli. The chef judging us felt our presentation was rather 'white trash', but tasted good. Believe it or not, the brussel sprouts won. We came in last.
