I depend pretty heavily on my GPS to get me around. I show up in a new town, have no idea where I'm going most of the time, except for an address or hotel name. I punch it into my GPS and away I go. Works great, unless I don't have GPS.
I'm in Kansas City right now and last night, around 11:15PM I was getting ready to head to my hotel when I noticed that my GPS receiver had been stolen from my car. I have no idea who would want it, or exactly when it was taken, but it's gone. It's about $100 to replace, and I was ticked, not to mention very lost. The Valet sent me on a wild goose chase, and the late night receptionist had no idea how to get me to the hotel from where I was at. An hour later, I made it to my hotel. I fly into Oklahoma City tonight, and I'm just hoping I can find my hotel from the airport. I've ordered a new one and hope I have it in time for Seattle next week.
