I just wanna go home

Remember the picture of four airline staff gathered around a terminal trying to figure out my ticket? I'm sure they meant well, but somehow they canceled my return flight back from Kansas City - a flight which is now sold out. When I didn't get any notification on my flight status, I figured I'd call just to be safe. I went online and it showed that my flight had been canceled. I called initially and the first customer service rep was one of the meanest I've ever talked to, and then she transitioned into talking to me like a 4 year old - and this was on their elite hot-line. I hung up, called back and found someone else to help me. I no longer have my first class seat, but at least I'm getting home tonight.
