Maddie has been saving for a while to get a pair of Healy's and she finally has enough money. We went up to Dick's Sporting Goods today and Nate, Madeline and Emily all went rock climbing. Madeline made it all the way to the top (80 feet), Nate made it about 2/3rds of the way and Emily made it about 25 feet up. All of them had a blast. I'm amazed at the strength Maddie has developed from gymnastics. The team training stuff she's been doing this summer (3 hrs x 2 days a week) is pretty grueling, but it pays off for her.
