I've used statcounter.com for a while to track the usage statistics on my blog. It's good, but it's not free. Google's got their own free version called Google Analytics. If you've got a blog, this will tell you who looks at your site and when with some amazing detail.
To get set up, login Google Analytics with your Google Account. Once you've got your account set up, to get Google Analytics tracking your site's pageviews, drop a snippet of javascript onto your site's pages (much like Sitemeter.) If you're a blogger, just include the Google Analytics code into all your blogging software's templates.
