Cathie was in Small Group tonight, so I hung out tonight and watched one of my favorite movies of all times, The Big Lebowski, a Coen Brothers Film. It's a movie about nihilists, shabbos, pacifists and of course, The Dude.
My favorite t-shirt in the world from my friend Will has a message from the Dude (which my friend Willie Hiedinger claims is also mentioned in the bible).
And the big line...
The Dude: Yeah, well. The Dude abides.
The Stranger: The Dude abides. I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners. Shoosh. I sure hope he makes the finals.

Um... Dave ...anytime you want to give me some Cliff's Notes for that movie, I'd sure appreciate it. Mike's brothers gave it to us one year for Christmas and we still haven't figured it out. They laugh like MANIACS everytime it's on ..but we don't get it. Do you think it is because we stop watching it at the half-way point?? We feel like losers.
