Kid's Choir Concert

Nate and Madeline's school Christmas concerts were tonight (and yes, I was out of town... I know, I know... Cat's in the cradle and all that). Cathie shared with me that the 3rd grade concert was great, but the 4th grade concert was a little painful. She sat in the front row watching Nate sing. What he was supposed to be singing went something like this:

Christmas is in the heart and you can feel it everywhere.

Cathie couldn't hear it, but could read on the lips slightly different words from Nate and his friend, as they nudged each other and giggled. Apparently, what Nate and his buddy were singing was something to the effect of:

Christmas is in the fart and you can smell it everywhere.

I think it's clear that Nate got this kind of behavior and sense of humor from Cathie and her side of the family.
