Mac on a Dell?

I'm typing this blog entry from a Dell that is now also a Mac. I loaded the developer's version of OSX on my Dell D610 laptop as part of the OSx86 Project to see how it world work. It's not much of a laptop, but I'm amazed at how well it runs OSX - way better than it would run under Vista with all the same functionality.

Using Parallels, I'm able to run native windows applications as well. How well the OSX load works on your native intel machine is dependent on the type of machine you have and you have to be somewhat technical to get it to work, but in the end, it works flawlessly on my equipment.

I could tell you were typing this on a different machine. It is amazing the difference it makes coming from a Mac.
