Happy Birthday Boom!

Sexy Sooze
My baby sister turns 20-something today. Here are some fun facts about Susan:
  1. She has more nick names than anyone else in our family. Everytime my parents would outlaw one nick-name, we would come up with a new derivation. We would also find songs that used the nick-name in the words so that we could use the name and not get in trouble, "I wasn't calling her a name. I was just singing a song." Song of those names include: Parade, Rosanna, Red, Boom and Ralphie Baby.
  2. Growing up, we all got the Meijer's special Huffy bikes. Susan got the Schwinn bike. My Dad has explained that he learned his lesson from our crappy bikes. As a result of that lesson, I bought Madeline a Giant (quality) recently instead of doing the Wal-Mart special.
  3. Susan likes her creative memories scrapbooks more than Will. She chose to go scrap-booking instead of coming to Will's graduation or his surprise Graduation party.
  4. Susan is one of the most stubborn people I know.
  5. Susan's daughter Allie not only looks just like Susan but has Susan's stubborn 'tude to boot. It cracks me up watching this little mini-me version of Susan running around.
  6. Susan has the best laugh you've ever heard and she laughs all the time. Susan has a joy about her that is very contagious.
  7. Susan has the kind of relationship with my Dad that I want to have with my girls when they are her age.
  8. Susan is a ferocious-deal-finder. She loves getting a good deal -whether it's from a garage sale or a store. She will travel miles to save a penny.
  9. Susan was once banned from eBay for sinister activities that involved her friend Kate.
  10. Susan will try and inject herself into every picture being taken. I have hundreds of pictures of Susan sticking her head into them at the last minute.
  11. As far as Susan knows, she is not adopted

Dave,
I am a little weirded out by the picture of you and your sister in your pj's. It looks like, to me, that she is reaching behind her and has her hand covering your crotch. I have sisters and there is no way we are that close. I have heard of protecting the family jewels but, you don't need your sisters help.

That's creepy. That's my hand you see. One good rule of thumb I use is that if I can see both of the other persons fully extended arms, with both hands attached - I never assume there is a third hidden arm in the picture.

Normally I wouldn't want to contradict you on an issue like this, but if you actually look at the photo, it is your arms that are fully extended, unless Sooze lost a sleeve to her PJs and developed a very "manish" looking arm.

Wow. Moondawg gave a lot to think about. Personally, I think it’s noble that you and your sister recycle furniture slip-covers into pajamas.

Will is right. It is your arms that are extended. You must have been blinded by this abnormal relationship. God will judge this. It is Susan's hand covering you. Dave, maybe your childhood is the cause. You mentioned once that you had a very close relationship with your youth pastor. could this be the cause?
