Nate and I went to see the movie Transformers today. Great flick, especially when you consider how cheesy the original cartoon really was. The switched around a few things, like changing Bumblebee from a VW Bug into a Camaro, but otherwise it was very well done and worth watching.

and the girls didn't go because???? This is one of the many reasons why girls struggle to keep up with boys in math classes. I used the "Transformers" to explain transformations in my Algebra and Geometry classes. Girls stare at me blankly. Hmmmm...... Course they ALL had headphones stuck in their ears, so most were staring at me blankly! Technology...grrrr.
My kids voted to see the movie at the Milford Cinema (only $5!!!) over watching fireworks and it was an awesome choice! We all loved it; especially the fact that the beautiful, brainy chicks in the film basically save the day! Ahhh, welcome to my world (sigh). Seeing all the sweet, sweet rides make me want a sports car again.
