I love our Xbox 360, but it's got a small problem. If the unit gets bumped in any way while it's on and has a disc spinning in it, the disc is toast. The laser will etch a beautiful circle around the disc and make it completely unusable. This happened to our Guitar Hero 2. Luckily, the manufacturer of the game will replace the disc for $20. On an side note, I've got Halo 3 pre-ordered from Amazon.

I am experiencing the same problem with my new Guitar Hero 3 disc. Is there a fix that you know of that Microsoft has released or any way to get that taken care of.
EB Games gladly replaced my disc but told me it was a one time replacement.
I think Microsoft has fixed the XBOX so the drives won't kill the discs. They've also extended the warranty to 3 years on all xboxes, so call them, and they can give you a new drive.
