Insurance

I'd been with AAA insurance for 10+ years for my home owners insurance and auto insurance. I was never really unhappy with them, but every time I needed anything, I had to call an 800 number to deal with them and my prices never really went down over the years. A friend of ours (who happened to be our 'mortgage guy') wife, Deb, started a branch of Farmer's Insurance out in Brighton. I'm not a farmer, and have never farmed, but my Dad grew up on a farm, so I guess that counts. Deb went over our home owners and auto insurance and saved us about $700/year for the same coverage. Not too shabby. I had a recent issue where my home owners insurance got jacked way up by about 40% suddenly. Deb worked it out and in the end, my rate will be lower than it was before. Deb has a great personal touch and deals personally with the issues, not to mention saving us a bundle. Dana and Eli have switched, as have a bunch of our friends. Ironically, Bill, who introduced us to Deb's husband for our mortgage, has not switched. How sad. Give her a call and tell her I sent you. She'll probably give you your insurance for free.
