American Gladiator

I'm a big fan of the new American Gladiator. Awesome stuff, just like the original. The Gimmiks that each character has are hilarious, especially Wolf-man. I feel bad for the guy. You can imagine a bunch of people sitting around in a room dreaming these up, and then telling them: "Ok, we're going to mess your hair up, give you crazy side-burns, while you howl like a wolf, show your teeth and refer to the audience as your "wolf-pack". Nice.

Best Week Ever came up with a synopsis of the characters and their "gimmicks", like this one for Chad:

Doing really Chad things like using TurboTax, and talking about his great new toaster oven. When he bests a contestant, Hulk Hogan always sums up the action by saying, “That was so totally Chad.” Or, “Classic Chad.”
