Emily's Dance Recital

Yesterday was Emily's Spring dance recital. The recital was a three hour long ordeal that cost a small fortune for the lessons, costumes, tickets and time for Emily's three minute dance. Her smile and the joy she had while doing her dance was worth every penny of it. You can see the smile in these pictures and tell how much fun she was having. Check out the height she's getting in the third picture. I have no idea if that was part of the routine or not, but it was fun to watch.

My Dad, Judy and Cathie's parents came to see the show. Cathie's Dad and I were able to catch a bit of shut-eye during the show, but my Dad was too mesmerized by the show to get any quality sleep. It was cool to see how proud Maddie and Nate were of Em, and how much that meant to Emily.
