This is a great article from the New York Times about 'How Apple's Spat with Google is getting personal' that made me smile. It talks about how things have gotten ugly between Apple and Google based on the fact that Apple feels that Google came up along-side them, stole their technology and made their own:
At the heart of their dispute is a sense of betrayal: Mr. Jobs believes that Google violated the alliance between the companies by producing cellphones that physically, technologically and spiritually resembled the iPhone. In short, he feels that his former friends at Google picked his pocket. This is near and dear to my heart based on how Apple 'borrowed' technology like the mouse and the GUI from Xerox back in the day. Not to mention that I'm a huge fan of Apple.
