One Thing, cont.

I remember a while back Shinn and I taught a message together at church. In one of Jason's parts of the message he talked about the disciples and some of their boneheaded moves as they followed Jesus. Jay talked about how even in the midst of their mistakes, they got the idea of the One Thing more often than not. They followed Jesus through thick and thin. Shinn used the lyrics of the song One Thing by Finger Eleven to accentuate the point. Every time I hear this song, I remember the message, the disciples, and their one thing:

If I traded it all
If I gave it all away for one thing
