Conversation with Nate

Nate: "Dad, check this out. I lost another tooth."
Me: "Did they pull it out at the dentists office?"
Nate:"No, I pulled it myself."
Me: "Did they let you pull it out"
Nate: "When they numbed my mouth for the cavity, I couldn't feel anything, so I pulled it."
Me: "So it was loose enough to yank on your own?"
Cathie: "He pulled it out when they left the room. The hygienist said it still had a few weeks, but Nate figured just because he couldn't feel the pain, it was ready to go."
Me: "Nice."
