Saturday evening we went to a suprise party birthday party for my friend Eli. He was supposedly dropping the kids off at Dana's parents in order to go out to dinner with Cathie and I. Instead, he got suprised. All of his friends were there, many of us finding Eli important enough to make huge sacrifices for him. Bob didn't go to a Pisotn's game (with seats behind the player's bench) and Will and Monaca could have gone to see Will's favorite broadway show, La Cage aux Folles. Eli's "friend" Brad chose to go up north to hunt instead (in fairness to Brad, he only gets to head up north 50 days a year and has only been hunting 30 days so far this season).
We played cards and I didn't win.
Oddly enough, Will and Eli spent a lot of the evening snuggling and gazing into each other's eyes throughout the night. Weird, right? Not so much for them.
We got home around 12:45ish and as always happens, Bob, Brad, Eli and I had load-up in the morning. Brad "chose" not to be there and Bob and I gave Eli the morning off, so Bob and I got 'er done with two people.
